Its name conjures up the lush hazelnut trees that grow near the rows of vines from which it originates. A vigorous bright ruby red colour, Noglâr presents gentle floral scents and vibrant spicy essences that mingle with notes of wood and red fruits such as morello, raspberry and strawberry jam. The result of excellent clonal selections made in 1967, when poured into, it expresses its full power thanks to the fresh taste of cherry and blackberry.  Warm and well-balanced, its full-bodied structure is all-enveloping. This wine is a perfect pairing for red meat, full-flavoured first course, roast pork and medium-ripe cheese. It should be served at 16-18°C.
